A Time of Prayer & Solidarity Against White Supremacy: August 12, 7pm

this sunday

What happened in Charlottesville was nothing new, but it is a reminder of the depth of racial hatred in our midst and the power of white supremacy. And yet there is a still greater power — the power of love. And today’s tragic events clarify the demand love puts on us to stand up, name, confront, resist and defeat evil with love and in love’s name.” — Mike Kinman

In the wake of the evil we’ve seen in Charlottesville today and with a deep awareness that it is but the latest manifestation of the struggle against systemic racism, we gather tonight on the lawn of All Saints Church in solidarity and sorrow to pray for and end to the toxin of white supremacy in our nation and for the wisdom, resolve and persistence to be agents of change for love, justice and compassion.
