For the past years, the All Saints community has rallied support for the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) Families in Transition program serving homeless and transitional students and their families in PUSD by connecting them to services in the com­munity and providing items of immedi­ate basic needs such as food, clothing, transportation assistance, and supplies.

Children and youth of families that are at risk of homelessness, homeless, or that are economically challenged experiences many barriers that prevent them from showing up from school each day. From not having the right school supplies, to being hungry, not having clean clothes to wear, or clean bodies, anything can become a reason for not coming to school. In the spirit of breaking barriers and supporting efforts that ensure each child in our community gets educated and is empowered to achieve and have a positive future.

The ASC Action Table is proud to announce that we will be collecting items once again on Sundays August 24th and 31st — or you can bring them to the Main Office and Regas House Lobby from Monday — Friday from 8:30AM – 5PM.

ITEMS NEEDED

New toiletries in small or travel sizes

  • Deodorant for boys and girls
  • Shaving cream/gel for boys and girls
  • Razors for boys and girls
  • Body soap
  • Q-tips
  • Adult and children size toothbrushes
  • Dental floss
  • Toothpaste for children and adults
  • Shampoo and conditioner

Household items

  • Laundry detergent
  • Toilet paper

Non-perishable food items

  • One pound bag of beans
  • One pound bag of rice
  • Peanut butter
