Breaking News from the Wardens!

We write with wonderful news: All Saints Church has a Rector-elect! After an 18-month national search process, the Rector Search Committee unanimously recommended a candidate to the Vestry two weeks ago — and at its meeting last night, the Vestry unanimously affirmed the committee’s selection.

It is our great honor and delight to invite you to attend or to stream the Forum this coming Sunday, June 12, where we will formally announce the Tenth Rector of All Saints Church. (If you can’t make it live, we will have the video posted to our YouTube Channel later Sunday afternoon.)

We have asked the Rector Search Committee to lead Sunday’s Forum, and to share about the process of mutual discernment that led to their selection. The path of identifying a new leader for our faith community was sacred ground, and the committee faithfully considered dozens of remarkable candidates. There is no shortage of prophetic voices in the Episcopal Church. Yet in the end, the Holy Spirit kept leading the committee back to the one person we believe is called to lead All Saints in the next season of our life together. We are deeply thankful that their chosen candidate has accepted our call.

To allow for a simultaneous announcement to the congregation our new Rector leaves behind, we will hold our good news until this Sunday. We hope you can join us in the Forum at 10:15 a.m. Until then, may God’s peace be with you.
