On Sunday, Nov. 3, we will celebrate our parish feast day honoring those who have died within the past year. At all services our memorial book containing the names of loved ones will be placed on the altar.
At 9:00 & 11:15 AM, Coventry Choir and Chamber Orchestra will offer Requiem in D minor by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a work of remarkable beauty and power. Incense will be used during the 9:00, 11:15 AM & 1:00 PM services. At 9:00 & 11:15 AM, there will be an “Incense-Free” zone in the Guild Room.
On All Saints Sunday the 9:00 AM, Gospel procession will lead to something a little different. Instead of returning to the sanctuary for communion, children and their families are invited to stay in the Learning Center to celebrate a Family Eucharist. Each year we look forward to a time of remembering and celebrating the lives of loved ones gone. Join the Children, Youth and Family (CYF) Ministries for an interactive worship experience! The 11:15 AM Chapel will return to the sanctuary during the greetings as usual.
Walk the Labyrinth
As part of All Saints Day, the Labyrinth is offered from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM in Sweetland Hall. It will also be in the church from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. as part of the Taizé service. No matter which way you turn, you cannot get lost if you follow the path guiding you!
Join us for music, prayer, candle light, and silent meditation on All Saints Sunday at 5:00 PM in the Chapel. The Labyrinth will also be available to walk.
