On, Saturday, March 29, from 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM, All Saints Church presents a free, one-day conference for empowering youth and parents against bullying. After a free lunch from noon-1:00 p.m., a diverse and distinguished panel of experts will share their own experiences with bullying, how they overcame it, and teach how to identify bullying. In small groups for both youth (grades 6-12) and parents — attendees will share personal stories and identify what bullying looks like, then come up with next steps  on how to change culture for the better and prevent bullying in the future.

Speakers will be:
Eric Johnson — STARS Program Manager, Lake Avenue Community Foundation
Samer Hathout — Board Member, Muslim Public Affairs Council, Co-Founder of the Muslim Women’s League, Criminal prosecutor, Los Angeles.
Shannon Pacaoan — contributing author of the anthology, “Letters to my Bully”
Paul Caldwell — Artistic director of the Youth Choral Theater of Chicago (Caldwell made an influential “It Gets Better” video).
