Practice the habit of stillness 2017

Please join us as we practice the Habit of Stillness and journey into our heart of hearts: a place so intimate that it is where "the eye with which we see God is the eye with which God sees us." Together we will unwind from the work week and practice Stillness through a variety of meditation practices including, Centering Prayer, as taught by Father Keating and Vipassana Meditation - a style of Buddhist meditation useful for daily life. SAA 2017 SH2 Fridays

Recovery was possible for most of us only when we accepted the fact that we were powerless over our addictive sexual behavior and that we were incapable of changing without help from outside ourselves. Many of us came to this realization when we started attending SAA meetings. In that setting we heard stories similar to ours and realized that recovery from our malady was possible. We learned through the SAA Fellowship that we were not hopelessly defective. Location: Scott Hall 2
