Join us for Jazz Vespers with Jason Luckett, on Sunday, February 19, 5:00 p.m. on the Chancel. Jason will be joined by Russell Ferrante on piano, Edwin Livingston on bass, Reggie Quinerly on drums, and Nailah Porter will join on vocals for a couple songs. Admission is free. All are welcome!
On Shrove Tuesday, February 21, 2023, 4:00-6:00 p.m., we will create ashes out of things in our lives we want to release or transform. We will recieve everyone’s offerings and burn them in a transforming fire – our ashes will be the remains of all we wish to release or transform, and we will wear them together.
On Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2023, services and imposition of ashes will be held at 7:00 a.m., 12:10 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Fiction Fun! is a book group that meets on the fourth Friday of the month in the Guild Room at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, February 24, Fiction Fun! Reads a New Translation of Camus, The Plague (1947).
On Saturday, February 25, join us in the Forum from 2:00-4:00 for a screening of the documentary film Blurring the Color Line: Chinese in the Segregated South, followed by discussion of the film. Admission is free. All are welcome.

Each year, thousands of homeless people die on the streets of our nation due to illness, exposure or violence, many from Pasadena, without the dignity and respect they deserve. Please join us Monday, March 6, at 6:00 p.m. in the Church for the Homeless Memorial Service, as we honor and acknowledge their lives and membership in the human family.
