We also invited her to share a bit about her life story\, growing up\, and what inspired her to get involved in politics. DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, May 3 — Final Official Visit of Bishop John Taylor\n10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in Church and on the lawn \nJoin us as we welcome Bishop John Taylor back to All Saints for his final official visit as the Bishop of Los Angeles. Don’t miss this opportunity to thank him for his nine years of faithful service as our diocesan bishop – for his proactive support for the work of Sacred Resistance\, for his commitment to stand with the LGBTQ community in general and our Trans youth in particular and for leading us through the dark days of the COVID epidemic and the rise of Christian Nationalism. His steady hand has helped guide us through some very rocky times indeed — and this will be a chance for us to wish him well as he and Kathy head off to retirement in San Diego. Bishop John will preach and celebrate at the 10:00 service which will include the sacrament of Confirmation. Red will be the festival color of the day — and there will be an opportunity to meet and greet Bishop John on the lawn following the service. All are welcome!

DESCRIPTION:Meditation with the Labyrinth & Worship in the Style of Taizé\nWednesday\, May 6\, 5:30–7:00 p.m. on the Chancel.  \nThe first Wednesday of the month the Labyrinth Ministry and the Taizé Worship Ministry are working together to offer an experience of meditation and worship. Our labyrinth will be set up on the Chancel from 5:30–7:00 p.m.\, before and during the Taizé service which will be going on in the Chapel. Walking the labyrinth can be a time of quieting our minds\, listening for a word from God\, and connecting with the Spirit. In the church with the sounds of prayer and chanting going on in the Chapel\, we believe this can be a holy time. Come try it out!
