SUMMARY:Adult Children of Alcoholics Anonymous
DESCRIPTION:Group: Outside Groups \nWelcome to our Tony A. Study Meeting of Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families. This is an open meeting and we welcome you. This meeting is an hour and half in duration. We read from Tony A.’s “The Laundry List: The ACoA Experience” book on the first\, third\, and fifth Tuesdays of the month and listen to Tony A.’s Florida presentation “why 12 new steps” on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Then the floor is open for sharing on the topic or your personal experience. \n \nWe meet to share the experiences we had as children growing up in an alcoholic or dysfunctional home. That experience infected us then\, and it affects us today. By practicing Tony A.s’ Twelve Steps and by attending meetings regularly we gain clarity about the effects of alcoholism or other family dysfunction on our lives. As ACoA members\, we identify with The Laundry List Traits. We become healthy adults and learn to live in The Solution of re-parenting ourselves\, one day at a time.

SUMMARY:Centering Prayer
DESCRIPTION:Group: Centering Prayer Tuesdays \nCentering Prayer is a meditation practice that is centered in the contemplative Christian tradition. A sacred word is chosen as your symbol of intention to consent to God’s presence and action within. We meet every Tuesday on Zoom from 7-8pm. \n \nMeets on Zoom. Please email Carol Hekman at carol@centeringprayer.org for the Zoom link. \n \nMinistry Leaders: Carol Hekman and Michelle Gavigan \n \nMore information: carol@centeringprayer.org

SUMMARY:Sex Addicts Anonymous
DESCRIPTION:Group: Outside Groups \nSex Addicts Anonymous meets every Friday from 7-8pm in the OCC Conference room.  \nOur primary purpose is to stop our addictive sexual behavior and to help others recover from sexual addiction. We find a new way of living through the SAA program\, and carry our message to others seeking recovery. In meetings\, we listened as men and women shared their experience\, strength\, and hope with each other to find freedom from addictive sexual behavior and help each other recover from sex addiction. SAA meetings offer an accepting\, non-threatening environment where we can share our common struggles and learn how to apply the principles of the Twelve Steps to our everyday lives.
