Nadia Bolz-Weber may be the world’s only 6-foot 1-inch tattooed female Lutheran pastor, former standup comic, and recovering alcoholic. Her New York Times bestselling memoir Pastrix: The Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner & Saint reveals that she is also an honest, hilarious, and irreverent person of deep faith. Bolz-Weber has been attracting hundreds of people to her book tour events around the country, where that honesty, irreverence and hilarity take center stage. She will speak about Pastrix — and conduct a ham raffle for charity, just because she’s always wanted to raffle off a ham.
She is the founding pastor of House for All Sinners and Saints, an ELCA mission church in Denver, Colorado. And she’s been featured on NPR, in The Denver Post, Christian Century, Sojourners and many more.
