One Earth, One Sky: Facing the Climate Crisis – Keynote Address

“We are quickly driving this planet toward heat death. The wild fires and hurricanes of this last season, from Harvey to Mariah, are witness to the increased energy in the atmosphere and ocean — in other words, heat — which together with the greater water-holding capacity of a warmer atmosphere, means increasingly violent storms and flooding.”

Keynote Address by former Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori for “One Earth, One Sky: Facing the Climate Crisis,” on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at All Saints Church, Pasadena.
