search committeeThe work of the Rector Search Committee is well underway — and we are seeking your input to help inform the search process in these two important ways.

Focus Groups

First, we are conducting a series of focus groups to hear your perspective on the core qualities of our church, your hopes for the future of All Saints and your thoughts as to how these factors are reflected in what we look for in our next Rector. Focus groups will consist of 10-12 participants with a facilitator and note taker and will meet for approximately 60 minutes. We will be conducting focus groups with specific ministries and vestry committees — in addition to multiple parish-wide gatherings — in order to achieve maximum participation by members of the congregation.

Our all-parish sessions are scheduled as follows (you may register for one by clicking on a date below):

Saturday, March 21   2:30 pm
Sunday, March 22     12:30 pm
Thursday, March 26   7:00 pm
Tuesday, April 7       7:00 pm
Saturday, April 11   9:00 am

Register for the all-parish sessions on the lawn at the Sign-Up Center starting Sunday or online on the “Rector Search” page of the website. Registration is required so we can anticipate the number of facilitator teams to provide and arrange for rooms.

All Parish Survey

Secondly, we will be disseminating an all-parish survey which we anticipate will be available within the next two weeks. Please look for future communications and plan on providing us your input in that manner as well.

Both the focus groups and the survey are critical steps in equipping the Search Committee to prepare the parish and rector profile. We encourage and thank you for your participation in this important task and ask for your continued prayers for the process of finding the next Rector of All Saints Church.
