Rector’s Forum:

Christ Was All About Hospitality — Are We? A Discussion on Hospitality in the 21st Century
with the Rev. John W. Kilgore, M.D.
The Bible is replete with examples of hospitality, from Abraham and Sarah at the oaks of Mamre (Genesis 18) to Jesus at the last supper (Mark 14) and on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24).  And hospitality is central to our 21st century social engagements and to so many business enterprises.  This forum will look at All Saints Pasadena and our approach to hospitality — good, bad, indifferent? — and provoke conversation on how we may be as hospitable and loving as Christ was.  Do we measure up?  Does All Saints Pasadena?  What does the hospitality industry (restaurants, hotels, and entertainment parks) teach us that is applicable to the Church?  Come and dialogue! Forum.
