Every week at All Saints Church we put our faith into action. This week the focus of our action is to thank Governor Newson for his continued efforts in protecting California from the persistent threat of book bans in our schools and libraries.
As the new school year begins, the possibility of new book bans persists. Governor Newsom has actively spoken out against this culture war tactic, while sending books to districts that have banned them, and endorsing AB-1078, which will explicitly prohibit book bans in California.
