Our Common Sense Risk Reduction
UPDATED Covid Protocols as of January 30, 2023

Since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, at All Saints Church our guiding principle has been to keep our community safe and well by following common sense risk reduction guidelines. From a total shutdown in March 2020 to various stages of virtual, hybrid and in-person polices for worship and gathering, our polices have been in alignment with civic health care professionals and our diocesan guidelines—and in consultation with Dr. Nicole Gatto, our resident epidemiologist, an associate professor in the School of Community and Global Health at Claremont Graduate University, assisting us directly with developing protocols and procedures. Dr. Gatto holds a PhD in Epidemiology from USC, an MPH in Community Health Sciences/Epidemiology from UCLA and a BA in Biological Psychology from UC Berkeley.

We are grateful for all who have worked so hard to protect the most vulnerable by following the guidelines and policies crafted under the leadership of Associate Rector Sally Howard and in consultation with Dr. Gatto

As of January 30, 2023, Because Los Angeles County, including Pasadena, currently have low levels of COVID-19, masks are strongly recommended, but not required indoors. Masks are optional outdoors.:

·  Masking is strongly recommended, but optional in indoor and outdoor spaces on the All Saints campus.

·  We will continue to require both vaccination and masks for those leading worship on the chancel, removing masks only while speaking at the microphone.

·  Both outdoor and indoor seating is available for services and communion will be served in both locations.

·  Our expectation is that those entering the church will be vaccinated (if vaccination is available to them)

·  Those who choose to be unvaccinated are requested to participate online.

·  Those seated indoors are asked to maintain social distance between individuals/households.

·  If we reach seating capacity in the church, ushers will guide you to alternative seating areas.

·  We ask you not to enter if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever over 100.4°F or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, or if you have had contact in the last 14 days with someone diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19.

We appreciate this community’s efforts to model the best pandemic behavior as an act of love for one another and our community.
