Bishop Taylor at All Saints on Sunday, May 3

This Sunday, our virtual worship begins at 10:00 a.m. with the Rector’s Forum and a conversation with John Harvey Taylor about “Servants of the Spirit: Abiding With Christ In Quarantine.”

The Forum and both services will be offered from the same link so join us at 10:00 a.m. and stay logged in throughout! — but please don’t log in until 15 minutes ahead of time, at 9:45 a.m. Here’s the link that will connect you this Sunday: https://zoom.us/j/817796514.

From 11:00 to 11:15 a.m., Kelly Erin O’Phelan will offer Children’s Chapel. If you have a candle and a lighter at home, please have them ready so you all can light the candle together!

At 11:15, Bishop Taylor will preach and Canterbury Choir offers Psalm 23 by McFerrin and O Clap Your Hands by Vaughan Williams. Minisingers and Mastersingers offer What a Wonderful World by Armstrong.

At 1:00 p.m., Alfredo Feregrino will preach at the bilingual Spanish/English service, where Dan Cole & Ensemble will offer music. Immediately after each service please join us for our “virtual interactive coffee hours” and let’s break bread together while we have some connective interactive conversation.

This week we put our faith in action with California YIMBY’s petition to Governor Newsom, calling on him to protect all California tenants. California can’t afford a new era of housing insecurity as a result of COVID-19, and though Governor Newsom made progress for renters last month when he delayed eviction proceedings by at least 60 days, existing protections don’t go far enough to keep Californians housed. The petition includes a list of demands designed to alleviate some of the biggest pressures faced by California renters. Please visit our Action page at https://allsaints-pas.org/more/action/ to sign the petition
