Blood Drive: May 12 at All Saints Church

A Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at All Saints Church on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. With no known end date in this fight against coronavirus, there is a critical need for blood and platelet donors and blood drive hosts to maintain a sufficient blood supply for weeks to come. All Saints Church is proud to partner with the Red Cross in this time of crisis as we witness the best of humanity as people roll up a sleeve to help those in need.

“In this crisis, radical inclusion and courageous justice means prioritizing the most vulnerable among us,” said Mike Kinman, Rector of All Saints Church. “Right now there are people who need donated blood and platelets to live and the supply is dangerously low. I’ve already made my appointment for Tuesday and, if you are able to do so, I hope you will join me.”

Donating blood products is essential to community health and the need for blood products is constant. As part of our nation’s critical infrastructure, healthy individuals can still donate in areas that have issued shelter in place declarations. The Red Cross follows the highest standards of safety and infection control, and volunteer donors are the only source of blood for those in need.

Donations will be by appointment only, scheduled through RedCrossBlood.org. Just type in our sponsor code — ASEC — in the “Find a Blood Drive” search box to schedule your time.

You can also streamline your donation experience and save up to 15 minutes by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete your pre-donation reading and health history questions on the day of your appointment.

All Saints is located at 132 North Euclid Avenue, Pasadena CA 91101 — and looking ahead, we will also be hosting Blood Drives on June 5 and June 16.
