Fiction Fun! Reads The Great Gatsby

A Modern Library list of the best 100 novels of the twentieth century ranked F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby 2nd, after Ulysses. A Guardian list of the best novels ever written in English ranked it lower, 51st, but said that “Fitzgerald’s jazz age masterpiece has become a tantalising metaphor for the eternal mystery of art.”
