On Friday, August 25, we’ll be celebrating our traditional Poetry Month! In this, people bring a poem or two to read to the group. (They might be poems that people have written themselves – but they’re mostly outstanding poems of the recent or even distant past.) Many people provide paper copies of the poems they’re reading – and that’s a nice thing. Don’t worry if you don’t have a poem to share; you’ll be able to listen to the poems other people have brought. There’s usually a grand variety of periods and styles and moods.
