Saturday, June 29 — Fundraiser for the Children of Gaza
3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the Learning Center.
Join us for an afternoon of mezze (hors d’oeuvres), music and a presentation on the work of KINDER USA to alleviate the famine, hunger, educational and developmental needs of Palestinian children in Gaza. Featuring Dr. Laila Al-Marayati, Chairperson of KinderUSA, Medical Director of Los Angeles Community Clinic, and Assistant Professor at Keck School of Medicine USC; and Dr. Riad Abdelkarim, Founder and Board member of KinderUSA, and Internal Medicine physician who has volunteered with infants, children, and teens in Gaza for more than 30 years.
Cost is $25 per ticket, with additional opportunities to give tax-deductible gifts available during the event.
