The Philadelphia Eleven” Documentary Film Screening, Sunday, July 28 at 5pm
On a hot July day in 1974 eleven courageous women and four prophetic bishops gathered at the Church of the Advocate in Philadelphia for the first stained glass ceiling shattering ordinations of women as priests in the Episcopal Church. Join us on Sunday, July 28 … the eve of the 50th anniversary of that historic day … for a screening of the award winning documentary film “The Philadelphia Eleven.” Whether you missed our Women’s History Month screening in March or want to see it again, all are welcome to watch, learn and be inspired by this truly groundbreaking film. Susan Russell will introduce the film and there will be a Q&A afterwards. All are welcome! For more information contact Debbie Daniels ddaniels@allsaings-pas.org 5pm in the Learning Center.
