St. Augustine (354-430 AD), from Roman North Africa, is arguably the third most important figure in the development of Western Christianity (after Jesus and Paul). His intellectual autobiography, The Confessions, features an “extraordinary capacity to evoke and analyze intimate and complex feelings.” Join us this Lent for a serious engagement with this spiritual classic. This class will be facilitated by David Hunt.
