Friday, November 4, 6:30 p.m. refreshments, 7:00 p.m. Screening and Q & A in the Forum.
We welcome back Father Michael Lapsley, President of the Healing of Memories Global Net-work, who will moderate a discussion with Filmmaker Kelley Settles and film subject Adolphus Stuart. While living a life in the darkness of PTSD, a Vietnam War veteran faced with reality forces himself to confront the trauma that actually began when he was 4 years old. Adolphus Stuart works with the “head noise” that lives within him but continues to search for healing through culinary arts despite all odds. Kelley Settles is a Social Photographer and Filmmaker. She is self-trained and a student of the Hawaii Doc Club where she produced and directed her first documentary, Unseen Wounds. The film was accepted to the Vegas Film Festival 2021 and has received several awards. Kelley is a volunteer working with a wide range of organizations centered on social responsibility and she is an advocate for human rights and ending human trafficking. The event is free with an RSVP to Patty Prickett at pattyprickett17@gmail.com. Information = https://healingmemoriesna.org/.
