Family Hour

Starting March 27, All Saints’ Children, Youth, and Families department will host "Family Hour" for kids (kindergarten through fifth grade) on Sundays, 10:15 - 11:15 a.m. Parents are welcome to participate or to drop children off. Our goal will be to heal and move beyond the misunderstanding, confusion, hurtful interpretation, oppression, and other ways our bible has been used against us. Interfaith Study Group: Native Americans — Coping with Loss, Restoring Tradition: Tongva and Oglala Lakota Stories

On Sunday, 5/22, at 5:00 p.m. on Zoom, Interfaith Study Group presents Professor Rita Ledesma, Pine Ridge Oglala Lakota (Sioux), to discuss challenges of coping with loss in the American Indian Community and about the restorative process embodied by the Tongva Taraxat Paxaavxa Conservancy, and from Kimberly Morales Johnson, a board member of the Tongva Conservancy and tribal secretary of the Gabrielino Band of Mission Indians, and a Commissioner on LA County’s Native American Commission.
