The Circle of Life is a support group for those living with the declining health of someone they love. Interfaith Study Group: Native Americans — Coping with Loss, Restoring Tradition: Tongva and Oglala Lakota Stories

On Sunday, 5/22, at 5:00 p.m. on Zoom, Interfaith Study Group presents Professor Rita Ledesma, Pine Ridge Oglala Lakota (Sioux), to discuss challenges of coping with loss in the American Indian Community and about the restorative process embodied by the Tongva Taraxat Paxaavxa Conservancy, and from Kimberly Morales Johnson, a board member of the Tongva Conservancy and tribal secretary of the Gabrielino Band of Mission Indians, and a Commissioner on LA County’s Native American Commission.
