The jazz scene is abuzz about singer, pianist, composer, and recording artist, John Proulx (pronounced “Proo”). Help Us Create Our Ashes For Ash Wednesday. Bring your offering on Shrove Tuesday, February 13, 4:00–6:00 p.m. We will create ashes out of things in our lives we want to release or transform. We will take everyone’s offerings, along with the Palm branches from last year’s Palm Sunday services, and burn them in a transforming fire on Shrove Tuesday – our ashes will be the remains of all we wish to release or transform, and we will wear them together.
