The Los Angeles County jail system is the largest in the country, with an average daily inmate population of over 14,000. Although the jails were designed for temporary detention, many individuals are held in these aging and inadequate facilities for years awaiting their trials. Prism Restorative Justice provides loving spiritual care and holds inclusive worship services within the LA County jails.
