Beginning Monday, December 2, 6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m., on Zoom. Led by Wendy Furman-Adams. Over the four weeks of Advent, this small group will explore the mysteries of Christ’s Incarnation in poetry, prose, and the visual arts: the humble young woman whose humility leads to her exaltation; the Infant who pleads for humanity before he has learned to speak; the shepherds and magi transformed by their encounter with the infant God.
Healing Service and Blessing of Prayer Shawls — Sunday, December 29, 10:00 a.m. service in the Church. In the Healing Service you are invited to come forward and experience the laying on of hands – an ancient tradition in the church and a powerful experience. As we end the year, it can be a way to let go of the past, whatever it has been, and to walk with trust into the future. Also during the service, prayer shawls knitted and crocheted by members of our community will be presented and blessed. Thomas Diaz preaches.
