This Sunday, September 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., we will celebrate CYF!

In Sweetland Hall, enjoy an interactive experience of what happens on Sunday mornings in Children’s Chapel, Sunday School (and it’s “Godly Play” curriculum), and in the children and youth choirs. The youth choir will perform several demonstrations throughout the morning.

On the lawn, learn everything you ever wanted to know about all the CYF programs, for ages 0-18: Sunday School, Children’s Chapel, Youth Group, Seekers, Acolytes, Parent Culture, and Children’s & Youth Choirs. And ask about our exciting new “Our Whole Lives” (O.W.L.) program — a comprehensive sexuality education program for youth.

This CYF Celebration Sunday is also the last day of our back-to-school supply drive serving Families in Transition in the Pasadena Unified School District, so please bring your donations to the Action Table. We will hold our Blessing of the Backpacks at the 9:00, 11:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. services. All children and youth are invited to bring your backpacks to church! At the same time we will bless all the school supplies collected for Families in Transition.
