“Now we’ve got Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, also Hinduism — and the Sufi tradition, too, has an analogous teaching of the sacredness of all beings… The Cosmic Christ is an Eco-Christ. To put it concretely, if we’re destroying the rainforests, we’re crucifying Christ all over again, because Christ is the rainforest. Just like it says in Matthew 25, you do it to the least, you do it to me.”
