Tomorrow — November 8, 2016 — is Election Day: the day we put our faith into action by exercising our privilege and our duty to vote. In addition to the prayers we continue to raise from All Saints Church for the hope and healing in our nation, we also offer this “Election Eve Toolkit.”
Ballot Measures: Recommended and Compared: Download this chart comparing recommendations of over a dozen organizations on the California Ballot Initiatives.
“Episcopalians Vote:” Visit this website offering everything from a link to find your polling place to comprehensive information on California candidates and initiatives.
Pray in Community: Join us if you can for an Election Day Noonday Eucharist with special intentions for healing and hope for our nation at 12:10 p.m. in the chapel.
Almighty God, to whom we must account for all our powers and privileges: Guide the people of the United States in the election of officials and representatives; that, by faithful administration and wise laws, the rights of all may be protected and our nation be enabled to fulfill your purposes; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
