Episcopal 101 2024

Episcopal Church 101 launches on Sunday, April 14 , 12:00-1:30 p.m. with lunch in the Guild Room.

Episcopal Church 101 is a series of presentations, discussions, and anyone wanting to go deeper into the history, theology, and doctrine of the Episcopal Church. The four-class hybrid (in-person and online) course will be held on Sunday afternoons April 14, 21, 28, and May 5.

The program concludes with the opportunity to receive the sacramental rite of Confirmation at the diocesan wide Confirmation service with Bishop John Taylor on May 11th, 10:00am at St. John’s Cathedral.

Here’s what one parish leader wrote about his experience with both the class and Confirmation: From the moment I stepped onto the lawn one Sunday morning, everything fell into place. Within weeks, I was entrenched in the All Saints Community, joining small groups and becoming an usher. When the Confirmation Class began a few months later, it seemed like a “no-brainer” because it isn’t just about confirming my commitment to my community; it’s about committing to my faith, roots, and growth as a spiritual being.” All Are Welcome!
