Sunday, January 5 — Sacred Resistance Task Force 2.0
9:00 a.m. in the Guild Room.
What is Sacred Resistance? Why do we need it? How do I get involved? Susan Russell will give some history, an update on the current plans for the Task Force and an invitation to get involved. A great way to launch the new year as we partner with our siblings across the Diocese of Los Angeles in the work of becoming Beloved Community.

Sunday, January 12 — Children, Youth & Families Ministry in 2025
9:00 a.m. in the Guild Room.
Join us for an engaging conversation with Amanda Baughman (our New Director of Children, Youth, and Families ) as we explore the vision and opportunities for Children, Youth, and Families Ministry (CYF) in the coming year. Discover how CYF is creating meaningful spaces for growth, connection, and faith formation across all ages, and learn how you can get involved through Seekers—a dynamic program inviting the whole community to journey together in service and support of our young people. Whether you’re a parent, volunteer, or simply curious about how to connect, this is a chance to
be inspired and join the work of nurturing the next generation.

Sunday, January 19 — Launching Sacred Ground @ASC
9:00 a.m. in the Guild Room.
One of the ways we mark Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday this year is with the registration launch for our parish-wide Sacred Ground initiative. Join program coordinators
Maryann Ahart and Lori Kizzia to find out more about being part of this important work.

Sunday, January 26 — Grief in Many Forms: Healing Together Across Cultures and Conflicts
9:00 a.m. in the Guild Room.
Jonathan Stoner explores the universal nature of grief—whether personal, societal, or global. It delves into the layered experiences of grief in conflict zones like Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, and Post-inauguration in the USA as well as the shared human need for connection and healing. Drawing on stories, reflections, and lessons Jonathan invites us to consider how we might transform grief into action and hope, fostering resilience across divides.
