All Saints has seen many Homecoming Sundays over the years, but none like this year — a year when we are separated from each other by geography yet bound together by the Spirit that calls us into our shared mission of radical inclusion, courageous justice, joyful spirituality and ethical stewardship.
On Sunday, September 20 at 11:15 a.m. we will celebrate those values on a Homecoming Sunday like no other — giving thanks for the history we share and the future we look forward to — while we stand together in this present moment. We are grateful for the technology that lets us be together across the miles and for the opportunity to remember some of our past as we continue to imagine the future we will build together.
While our liturgy and music teams are hard at work planning the worship service for Homecoming Sunday, our Parish Celebrations team is also continuing to do what they do best: find ways for us to celebrate together being part of this All Saints community. Because we know that while this is a time of challenge and anxiety in so many ways, we also know that we are strengthened for the struggle by finding joy, gratitude and hope as we journey forward together.
So follow the directions on the flyer below. Take a picture of the something or someone that has given you joy, gratitude or hope and send in your photo — by Monday, September 7th — to be part of our Homecoming celebration.
