Jazz Vespers November 18: Bill Cunliffe

We welcome back to our Jazz Vespers series the inimitable jazz pianist, Grammy Award-winning arranger and our composer-in-residence Bill Cunliffe: widely known for his swinging and lyrical pianism and his creativity and invention as a composer and arranger of jazz. Bill began his career as pianist and arranger with the Buddy Rich Big Band and worked with Frank Sinatra, Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard, Benny Golson and James Moody. He has since established himself as a solo artist and bandleader, with more than a dozen albums under his name.

Bill will be joined by Darek Oles on bass and Joe LaBarbera on drums.
Christina Honchell offers the meditation.
