Jazz Vespers with pianist Bill Cunliffe!

April Jazz Vespers: Bill Cunliffe at 5:00 p.m., on the Chancel.

Jazz pianist, composer and Grammy Award-winning arranger, and our composer-in-residence Bill Cunliffe is known for his innovative and swinging recordings and compositions. Bill began his career as pianist and arranger with the Buddy Rich Big Band and worked with Frank Sinatra, Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard, Benny Golson and James Moody. He has since established himself as a solo artist and bandleader, with more than a dozen albums under his name. Bill will be joined by Clay Jenkins on trumpet, Bob Sheppard and Rob Lockart on saxophones, Lemar Guillary on trombone, Kevin Kanner on drums and Darek Oles on bass.

Join us in the intimacy of the Chancel for an extraordinary experience of jazz in-the-round. It’s a celebration of joy, energy and liberation.
