The Rector’s Forum at All Saints Church has a long history of providing a platform for speakers who touch the hearts, souls and minds of members of All Saints Church and the wider community. That tradition continues during this time of COVID19 with virtual Forums offered every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Here’s a look at what’s coming up during July:

July 12: Congregational Care During COVID19 with Christine Hartman & Sally Howard.
Our own Christine Hartman and Sally Howard lead a conversation on All Saints’ congregational care plan during the global pandemic. Join us for this important, informative and inspiring hour which includes an overview of the programs in place, stories from some of our volunteers and the premiere of a brilliant new video illustrating how we continue live out the core gospel values of love, justice and compassion in these challenging times.

July 19: Reframing the “Erasing History” Narrative with Rev. Dr. Wil Gafney
We’ll be celebrating the Feast of Mary Magdalene and there is simply no one better to lead us in a timely and important conversation exploring the historic pattern of systemic erasure of women’s voices and stories in our biblical canon and how that connects to the erasure of other voices and stories … women, people of color, LGBTQ, etc … in our civic canon. Join us as we challenge the narrative that raising up previously excluded voices is “erasing history.”

July 26: Parish Town Hall with Mike Kinman
This will be the third in a series of hour-long town hall meetings convened by our rector, Mike Kinman. Join us for a chance to hear from the rector, wardens, vestry, staff and other leaders about what is happening at ASC, ask any question that is on your heart, lay anything you are feeling or thinking about our common life on the table so your voice can be heard. Plan now to be a part of the conversation, ask what is on your mind and let us hear what is on your heart.
