Radical Inclusion is one of the core values at All Saints Church. Living into our commitment to full inclusion for members of the LGBTQ+ community is part of how we live into that value all year long – and during Pride Month we offer a great array of special events and opportunities:

Friday, June 2, 7:00 p.m. in the Forum – Somewhere Over the Rainbow Queer Prom
Get out your dancing shoes as we kick off Pride Month with our second annual Queer Prom. All are welcome. 

Sunday, June 4, 7:30 & 10:00 a.m. — Thomas Diaz Preaches
We kick off Pride Month with our own Thomas Diaz (he/ him) in the pulpit at 7:30 & 10:00 a.m. Director of Connections & Care, Thomas is the staff convener of our All Saints LGBTQ ministry and the vice-chair of the Diocese of Los Angeles Commission on LGBTQ Ministry.

Sunday, June 4, 9:00 a.m. in the Forum – Whats Next?
In our first Forum of Pride Month at 9:00 a.m. — What ‘s Next? with the ASC LGBTQ+ leadership team.

Sunday, June 4, following the 10:00 a.m. service — Drag Queen Bingo

Sunday, June 11, 7:30 & 10:00 a.m. Susan Russell Preaches
Long-time All Saints staffer and LGBTQ activist the Reverend Canon Susan Russell (she/ her) preaches at 7:30 & 10:00 a.m. In addition to her pastoral role here at All Saints, Susan currently serves as the Chair of the Episcopal Church’s Task Force on LGBTQ Inclusion and is the bishop’s liaison to the diocesan LGBTQ ministry as the Canon for Engagement Across Difference.

On the lawn after the 10:00 a.m. service — Photo Booth Fun on the Lawn. Join us!

Sunday, June 11, 9:00 a.m. in the Forum — “But the Bible Says …”
Liberating ourselves from the Bible as a weapon of exclusion. Susan Russell explores what the Bible says — and doesn’t say — about LGBTQ people and how to dismantle the misuse of our sacred texts as weapons of mass discrimination.

Friday, June 16, 7:00 p.m. in the Forum — Pride Movie Night
Follow the yellow brick road to the ASC Forum for Pride Movie Night and a screening of The Wizard of Oz.

Juneteenth Sunday, June 18, 7:30 & 10:00 a.m. — Carla Robinson Preaches
The Reverend Canon Carla Robinson (she/ her) preaches at our Juneteenth services. Carla comes to us from the Diocese of Olympia where she serves on the bishop’s staff as Canon for Multicultural Ministries & Community Transformation.

Juneteenth Sunday, June 18, 9:00 a.m. in the Forum — The Intersection Between Black & Queer Liberation
Canon Carla Robinson explores The Intersection Between Black & Queer Liberation.

Sunday, June 25, 10:00 a.m. Jonathan Quinn Preaches
Jonathan Quinn (they/ them) rounds out our Pride Month preaching schedule. Jonathan is an All Saints vestry member, a convener of the LGBTQ+Ministry and in the discernment process for ordained ministry. They hold degrees in biblical studies, philosophy of religion, and historical theology, and is a drag queen, comedian, theologian, and substitute teacher. Thomas Diaz preaches at 7:30 a.m.

On the lawn after the 10:00 a.m. service — Tea time with music.
