Locked in Solidarity: A Christian Response to Mass Incarceration

All Saints is honored to be part of a week of awareness and action on mass incarceration, bringing together our prayers, lament, hope, resources, and stories on a national level. Join us as we address the issue of mass incarceration and its impact on our local community from a Christ-centric perspective.

POLICE-COMMUNITY RELATIONS FORUM
Thursday, Feb. 8, 6:30 – 8 pm
Lake Avenue Church, HH 400 (Skyroom)
A forum where community members will participate in small group discussions about how police/community relations can be improved and what their role in that process should be. Join us as we take a step in the direction of identifying strategies for building trust and communication between local law enforcement officers and the community.

UNLOCKED: AN OPEN MIC NIGHT
Friday, Feb. 9, 7 – 10 pm

LOCKED IN SOLIDARITY 2018: SYMPOSIUM
Saturday, Feb. 10, 9 am – 2 pm
Lake Avenue Church, FL 300 (Warehouse)
Dominique DuBois Gilliard, keynote speaker and author of Rethinking Incarceration: Advocating Justice That Restores, will share his perspective on the direct impact of mass incarceration on our community. Panels and break-out sessions will focus on issues linked to pre-incarceration, incarceration, and post-incarceration. Will conclude with us determining next steps to be taken together!
