Bill Gould and his family have been a part of the All Saints family for 10 years and have served the church on multiple committees and groups. Bill joined RJAB, as a member of this advisory board in 2021 Additionally his daughter has had participation in Trouveres and the Civil Rights tour and his wife has had a role on the Paces. In addition, Bill contributed to Racial Justice Ministry programming by sharing his Great Great Grandparents stories of ascending out of enslavement. Beyond the walls of All Saints, Bill has a long history of professional and volunteer community service. Bill teaches at the USC School of Social Work, with a focus on macro practice in organizations, systems and communities, particularly those that serve children, youth and families. Bill’s previous professional experience has included First 5 LA, Pasadena Alumni Support Center, where he was the Director and multiple positions in the child welfare sector as a teacher, a social worker and in legal aid. Bill has completed a number of professional programs, including African American Board Leadership, Southern California Leadership Network, the Interaction Institute for Social Change’s Fundamentals of Facilitation for Racial Justice Work and Race Forward’s Building Racial Equity. Bill currently co-chairs the African American Parent Council and is a member of the School Site Council at San Rafael Elementary and is a Regional Board Member for “First Place for Youth, an organization that supports young people coming of age in the foster care system.
