A core value of All Saints Church is “ethical stewardship”, and the Buildings and Grounds (B&G) Committee is one way we live out that value – as stewards of our physical resources.

As a committee of the Vestry (our governing board), B&G provides direction to and oversight of the maintenance and care of the assets of the All Saints Church campus and Rectory, as well as supporting the work of the staff in both B&G and IT (Information Technology) departments.  Committee members are generally people with experience in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, Buildings Systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.), Landscaping, IT and Finance.

Our primary responsibility is fiduciary, concerning ourselves with the maintenance, expenses and budget for projects and repairs and recommending major expenditures to the Vestry for approval. Members also often lend their expertise in recommending design or repair details when required.

Our physical plant is an outward and visible sign of the inward and spiritual work of making God’s love tangible in the world, and we are deeply grateful to all those who give their time and expertise to contribute to its preservation.

Meeting time: Second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

Ministry Leader: Lonnie Schield
