Noonday Prayers for Our Nation: Friday, October 5

At All Saints Church we offer daily opportunities for prayer and reflection throughout the week. This Friday, October 5, our Noonday Prayer service will offer special intentions for our nation in this time of polarization, division and challenge.

12:10 p.m. upstairs in the Learning Center. Susan Russell will officiate. If you can’t join us, you can pray along here.

Almighty God, Bless our land with honorable industry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion; from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people the multitudes of many kindreds and tongues. Endue with the spirit of wisdom those to whom we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that, in alignment with your love, we may show forth your praise among the nations of the earth. In the time of prosperity, fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust in you to fail; all which we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
