Prayers for George Regas

A message from All Saints’ Rector Mike Kinman:

This week, All Saints Church Rector Emeritus George Regas was admitted to the hospital here in Pasadena. He does not have COVID, however he is seriously ill. He is receiving excellent care, I am in touch with Mary several times a day, and we are working with the hospital chaplaincy department to coordinate pastoral care for him.

Mary asks for the prayers of the All Saints Church community and all who know and love George. She also asks for privacy for her and the family at this time, and I have assured her we will grant her that and direct our energies toward prayer. Please know that we will share more information as we are able.

Thank you so much for your love and prayers for George and his family – they make a difference and are deeply felt.

Con el amor de Cristo,
Mike

Holy God, source of all healing, surround your child George with your healing power. Continue to give him a strong sense of your grace and love. Free him from pain and anxiety and bring him to wholeness of body, mind and spirit. Be with Mary and all who love and care for George. Be with the doctors, nurses, chaplains and technicians in whose care he is entrusted. May the flame of your love continue to burn brightly in him … and may that love flow through us to him, to Mary and to this church that George loves so dearly. In the name of our brother, Jesus, the great healer, we pray. Amen.
