“Churches that are trying to do intergenerational ministry to try to get people from different generations to talk to each other and hang out — there have been some churches that I’ve worked with that have noticed that trans folks are really great at working — this is a generalization — but trans folks are really great at working with teenagers because especially if you are like going through puberty yourself at age 30, there’s ‘oh I know what that feels like’ — but trans folks in general I feel are really good midwives through transitional stages in people’s lives.”
