On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in the wake of yet-another mass shooting, in Uvalde, Texas – after Buffalo, New York on May 14 and Laguna Woods, California on May 15, our hearts break and our minds boggle at the horrific impact of gun violence. As a people of both prayer and action, we lift our prayers and we redouble our commitment to work without ceasing to end the scourge of gun violence that plagues our nation. We come together in community to grieve, to pray and to empower each other for the work ahead: in a service with special intentions for the healing of our nation and an end to gun violence.
