The canons of the Episcopal Church require that every parish hold an Annual Meeting — and All Saints, Pasadena held ours this year in two parts: on February 19 and March 5. We elected new vestry members and delegates to Diocesan Convention, received financial reports and heard from our Senior Warden and Rector. And we received the 2016 Annual Report of the work of the church … for the first time ever in a video … rather than print … format.
It is a seventeen minute “tip of the iceberg” look at 365 days of mission and ministry during an historic year of transition for All Saints Church. Produced by our Communication Department and scripted, directed and edited by Communication Director Keith Holeman it is the result of months of research and weeks of editing, re-editing and fine-tuning. (Huge props to Keith for his great work on this — and thanks to all who contributed statistics, photos and video clips to tell the story!)
The end result is the story of a congregation rising to the challenge of celebrating the end of one chapter of its history and beginning another — without losing sight of the call to take the Good News beyond our walls into our streets, our nation and our world.
So settle back and enjoy this look at the Year That Was: 2016 @ASCpas.
