This Sunday at All Saints: August 18

We welcome our own Phoebe Kellogg to the pulpit for all four services on Sunday, August 18: at 7:30, 9:00 and 11:15 a.m., and for the Spanish language service at 1:00 p.m.

Music will be offered by The Quartet at 9:00 a.m., the Summer Choir at 11:15, and by Dan Cole & Ensemble at 1:00 p.m.

Trauma-Informed Community-Based Care Project
with Brinell Anderson and Sally Howard
in the Rector’s Forum (Sweetland Hall)

This forum will introduce the All Saints trauma-informed community-based care project, and describe the exciting opportunity for training that will be open to all parishioners this fall and winter. Come learn about this project of Radical Inclusion and Courageous Justice that will better prepare us to meet and care for traumatized individuals and families.

In the Seminar Room: Beyond Sadness Part III of VI: Understanding and Coping with Severe and Suicidal Depression
Dr. Claudia Shields leads a four-part series on depression and suicide.

Parent Culture in Scott Hall 2
During the summer, Parent Culture will meet with combined parents of teens and children for community and support (Scott Hall 2).

Summer Choir Continues!
The exciting adventure that is Summer Choir continues through Sept. 1. All tuneful voices are welcome to sing any or all of the Sundays. Children’s Chapel in the Learning Center (9:00 and 11:15 a.m.) Children K–5th grade join their families in church at the beginning services, then follow the banner out for Children’s Chapel before the sermon, returning for communion. Parents are always welcome to join us in Children’s Chapel.

Visit our Creative Worship Space for Families in the Chapel!
Families are invited to worship together through art and play on our rug in the chapel during any part of the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday services. Families should stay with their children as this area is not staffed. All are welcome to sit in the chapel; please be understanding whenever our youngest members make a joyful noise.

Parking on Sundays:

  • On Sunday mornings, please note that the entire south-side of the North Parking Lot (just north of the church on the corner of Euclid Ave. & Walnut St.) is reserved for people with mobility difficulties.

For regular parking, follow ASC Parking signs to Plaza Las Fuentes (garage entrance on Union) or the Kaiser Parking Structure (on the northeast corner of Euclid Ave. and Walnut). Sunday parking at Plaza Las Fuentes is only validated until 1:00 p.m. — after which parking fees accrue. If you’re staying later, please park in the Kaiser Parking Structure, which is free and open until 4:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: On Sundays, All Saints Church can be a very busy place. It is a good idea to plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the service in order to have ample time to park and make your way to the church.
