10:15 a.m. Adult Education Offerings:
Because of the ongoing elevator retrofit, the Rector’s Forum this week will be held in Sweetland Hall — and our guest will be the Reverend Dr. Starsky Wilson. A pastor, philanthropist and activist, Dr. Wilson led the Ferguson Commission in releasing the 2015 ‘Forward Through Ferguson: A Path Toward Racial Equity’ Report, calling for weeping changes in policing, the courts, child well-being and economic mobility. Join us for an important conversation between Dr. Wilson and Mike Kinman on what has been accomplished, what the major barriers are, where the hope is, and what the work ahead is.
In the Seminar Room: Beyond Sadness Part I: Understanding Depression
Dr. Claudia Shields leads a four part series on depression and suicide.
