The Rector’s Forum is on summer hiatus and will return on September 13, so our Sunday program begins at 11:00 a.m. with Chapel.
Since we moved to online worship, we’ve begun our Sunday program with Children’s Chapel at 11 am. It has been wonderful and for many a great way to prepare for our 11:15 service — and has inspired creative All Saints minds to explore other options for worship preparation. So starting this week, we are adding other options from 11:00 – 11:15 to prepare for worship in different ways.
Here’s how it’s going to work: At 11:00, we’ll post a link to a separate zoom room. You can stay in the main webinar for children’s chapel or break off into this other “chapel” for a different experience. At 11:15 that chapel will post the link back to the main webinar so we can all be together again. On Facebook, the chapel link will be in the comment thread.
11:00-11:15 a.m. – Chapel Time
- Children’s Chapel led by Kelly Erin O’Phelan – Everyone is invited to light a candle with Kelly Erin and enjoy a story and a craft.
- Meditation Chapel: Chapel aims to be a liminal space between the hustle of life and household and a more tranquil, worshipful mindset. We’ll have a reading and a moment of meditation, you’ll just need yourself and a candle if you have one.
11:15 a.m. Worship [English Service] – Mike Kinman preaches. Canterbury & Coventry Choirs Soloists offer Agnus Dei from Mass for Five Voices by Byrd. Trouvères offer City Called Heaven by Poelinitz, with soloist Felicity Robles.
1:00 p.m. Worship [Bilingual Spanish/English Service] – Mike Kinman preaches. Dan Cole & ensemble and Trouvères offer music.
