This Sunday we have the opportunity to gather with Episcopalians from all over the Diocese of Los Angeles as we celebrate together the theme of this year’s Diocesan Convention: “Servants of the Spirit” with Bishop John Harvey Taylor presiding at a bilingual Diocesan Eucharist — Sunday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m.

We are delighted that our preacher will be the Reverend Canon Stephanie Spellers — the Presiding Bishop’s Canon for Evangelism and Reconciliation. It will include a new virtual diocesan choir anthem and also music from our own Dan Cole Ensemble.

An online offering will benefit the One Body One Spirit emergency appeal that has so far raised some $200,000 to assist congregations that are struggling due to the pandemic.

All Saints will return to our Zoom format with our 11:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. services on Sunday, Nov. 22. Then we will return to the beautiful interior of All Saints beginning Advent I, Sunday, Nov. 29. Ministers of the liturgy will be observing the social distance and safety protocols dictated by health care professionals and in compliance with our diocesan guidelines. And while we all long for the time when we can safely return for in person  congregational worship, being able to center our online service in our familiar and beloved sanctuary is one step toward that eventual goal.
